The Center for Legal Studies (CEP) of the Il·lustre Col·legi de l’Advocacia de Barcelona (ICAB) launched its new academic program in partnership with ISDE, marking the start of a new stage in joint training.
The opening session featured a welcome address by Margarita Ribas Yglesias, Vice Dean of the Barcelona Bar Association, followed by a speech by Montse Pinto Sala, Director of ISDE Barcelona, who expressed her gratitude to the CEP for its confidence in this shared initiative.
Under the title “The Challenges of the Solicitor’s Profession: The Court of First Instance,” the session was opened with the participation of first-class speakers: Javier Segura Zariquiey, Court Solicitor and member of the Il·lustre Col·legi de l’Advocacia de Barcelona (ICAB), Joaquim Martínez Sánchez, Secretary of the Government of the High Court of Justice of Catalonia, Claudio Alejandro Montero Fernández, Magistrate of the Court of First Instance, and y Jesús M. Sánchez García, Lawyer at ZAHONERO & SANCHEZ ABOGADOS ASOCIADOS.
Among those attending were María Jesús Pesqueira Zamora, Dean of the Faculty of Law and Business at the Universitat Abat Oliba CEU, Andreu Olesti Rayo, Dean of the Faculty of Law at the Universitat de Barcelona; Vicente Pérez Daudí, Professor of Procedural Law at the same university; and Maria José Hernández, Magistrate at the Judicial School.
