Our students from the International Master’s in Legal Practice (MAI) have completed an academic stay in Washington, D.C., where they took part in the Certificate in Privacy and Data Security at Georgetown University.
The students attended a one-week intensive course, where they were welcomed by Raughley Nuzzi, Senior Program Manager of Custom & Executive Education at the School of Continuing Studies, and Qi Chen, MBA, Senior Assistant Dean of Custom Programs.
During the program, they also had the opportunity to learn from leading experts such as Shadi Abouzeid, PhD, Ph.D., Assistant Professor of the Practice and Associate Faculty Director, and Jeffrey Batt, specialist in Cyber Leadership.
Throughout several days of intensive training, students explored some of the key challenges of today’s digital landscape: privacy, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, technology governance, and digital resilience.
In addition to the academic sessions, the program included institutional and professional visits, such as the Embassy of Spain in Washington, D.C. and the international law firm hashtag#JonesDay, giving our students first-hand exposure to the global legal ecosystem.
An international experience that combines academic excellence, practical legal training, and direct engagement with leading institutions. 🚀
