ISDE Strengthens Its Commitment to Innovation and Executive Leadership at Madrid Chamber of Commerce Business Breakfast

1 December, 2025

The Madrid Chamber of Commerce and KPMG addressed the impact of Artificial Intelligence (#IA) on strategic business decision-making and the new models of corporate leadership during an informational breakfast held at the Palacio de Santoña, the institutional headquarters of the Chamber.

Under the title “Contribution of Artificial Intelligence to Strategic Decisions and Corporate Leadership”, the president of the Chamber, Ángel Asensio Laguna, spoke with the president of KPMG Spain, Juanjo Cano, about how AI is transforming management and strategy within organizations.

“We are living in a decisive moment: artificial intelligence is transforming the economy, business models and, above all, the way organizations think, decide and lead,” Asensio emphasized in his remarks.

For his part, Cano noted that artificial intelligence is not only transforming the way we work, but also the way companies support their clients. “At KPMG, we have committed to integrating AI into all our disciplines, with an ethical, safe and strategic approach that allows us to generate real and sustainable value. The key lies in people, as talent is the driving force behind any transformation,” he highlighted.

The event therefore offered an opportunity to reflect on how this technology is reshaping management processes, organizational culture and the competencies required of future business leaders. This initiative is part of the series of informational meetings promoted by Club Cámara Madrid, with the aim of demonstrating how artificial intelligence tools can be integrated safely, sustainably and strategically into organizational management, enabling more efficient, data-driven decision-making.

Among the attendees were Juanjo Cano, president of KPMG Spain; Ángel Asensio Laguna, president of the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Services of Madrid; Alejandro Halffter, secretary general of the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Services of Madrid; Alfonso Calderón Yebra, the institution’s managing director; and Juan José Sánchez Puig, CEO of ISDE Law & Business School and honorary president of Club Cámara Madrid.
