From April 8 to 11, our students from the Master in Esports Business explored the heart of the eSports industry in Berlin, visiting everything from the team house of Giantx, where professional players train, to the Riot Arena, where they witnessed an exciting eSports match. These experiences provided a deep understanding of eSports operations and culture.
At the Computerspielemuseum, they discovered the evolution of video games and technology, from the earliest arcade games to the latest innovations in virtual reality. This historical perspective enriches their understanding of the cultural and technological impact of video games on society.
A visit to Bayes, a leading data analysis firm for eSports, revealed how data is used to formulate business strategies in the sector, including the creation of odds for betting houses. This session highlighted the importance of data analysis in creating and managing products in the gaming industry.
This trip has been not only educational but also inspiring, equipping our students with the knowledge and skills necessary to lead in the dynamic world of eSports.
