After an intensive week of seminars and visits to some of the main juridical and sports related institutions in Madrid (such as the High Court, the overseas office, the Spanish Olympic Committee…), ISDE closed the 2009/2010 edition of its Executive and Full-Time Master programmes with a graduation ceremony held at the Real Club Casino of Madrid.
The ceremonial team was led by Mr. Alejandro Pintó Sala, Chancellor of ISDE, by Mr. Juan José Sánchez Puig, ISDE’s Executive Director and by Mr. Eugenio Gay, Judge of the High Court.

The ceremonial team was led by Mr. Alejandro Pintó Sala, Chancellor of ISDE, by Mr. Juan José Sánchez Puig, ISDE’s Executive Director and by Mr. Eugenio Gay, Judge of the High Court.
Mr. Alejandro Pintó Sala, opened the graduation ceremony congratulating to all the students and he remarked the important work and effort made from all of them during this last year to complete the Master successfully.
After that, Mr. David Jiménez Mouriz, Head of the Master Internacional en Asesoría Fiscal, on behalf of all the lecturers and heads of the rest of the ISDE Full-time master programmes, remarked that graduation is an opportunity to celebrate the results of hard work and commitment by students and their supporters. ‘This moment in time should not be seen as the end but the beginning of a new phase on the student’s life’. And he encouraged them to begin and/or continue their professional careers with the same effort they put to complete their studies.
Ms. Susana Jiménez Bautista, Judge, on behalf of all the lecturers and heads of the rest of the ISDE Executive master programmes, used the opportunity to remark the great job done by those students who were completing the master programme at the same time that they were working. And she added up the huge relevancy that nowadays the on-line education, in which ISDE is a pioneer, is taken.
After the handing out of the Diplomas and Mentions of Honor, Mr. Sergio López Marcos, student of the Master Internacional en Asesoría Fiscal, Mr. Manuel Antonio Zapata, student of the LL.M. in International Law and Ms. Aurora García Medina, student of the Master en Práctica jurídica, showed their gratitude to the Institution and the staff who work at ISDE, to the lecturers and insterships’ tutors, to all those persons who had helped them to get to that point and also to their families and friends for their support.
Finally, Mr. Eugenio Gay, Judge of the High Court, closed the graduation ceremony with a speech about the relevancy of the ethic not only in order to develop a professional career but also on any personal relation.
Once the graduation ceremony was over, everybody could enjoy a pleasant dinner at the Salón Real of the Casino of Madrid.
Both, the Graduation Ceremony and the dinner party were a success. ISDE managed to gather together a relevant number of businessmen, lawyers, partners of important law firms, as well as different personalities of the political, economic and sport world; More than 50 national and international companies that collaborates with ISDE; Ernst & Young, Roca Junyent Advocats, Sonae Sierra, Landwell – PwC, Garrido Abogados y Asesores Fiscales S.L., Freshfields Bruckhauds Deringer, Ashurst, Grupo Aldesa S.A., Popular Banca Privada, Hercesa, LFP – Spanish National Football League, Spanish High Council of Sports, Spanish Foreign and General Affairs Council, Cour de justice des communautés européennes, amongst others.
