Montse Pinto Sala, Executive Director of ISDE Barcelona, participated in the First Conference on International Adoptions: Children and Families Without Borders, organized by the Children’s and Adolescents’ Rights Section of Il·lustre Col·legi de l’Advocacia de Barcelona (ICAB).
The event brought together professionals and experts from the legal and social fields. Montse Pinto was a speaker at the round table “The Role of Authorities from Children’s Countries of Origin in Guaranteeing Their Right to Live in a Family”, alongside Cristina Nuñez Brugueras, forensic psychologist and board member of the ADOPTA Association, and Gemma Rodríguez Megías, specialist from the Family Unit of the ICAA. The meeting also featured contributions from Xavier Campà i de Ferrer, lawyer and President of the Children’s and Adolescents’ Rights Section of the ICAB, and y Meritxell Bosch Torreblanca, lawyer and Vice President of the Children’s and Adolescents’ Rights Section of the ICAB.
🌍 All the speakers shared valuable insights on the importance of international cooperation and strengthening child protection systems, with the shared goal of ensuring that every boy and girl can grow up in a safe and nurturing family environment.
