ISDE Law & Business School, as part of the DIGITALENT GROUP, has established itself as a benchmark in legal innovation during the VIII Confilegal Awards, held at the Palace in Madrid in front of more than 400 professionals from the sector.
The gala was hosted by Gonzalo Bans López de Lamadrid and opened by Julen Ariza, editor of Confilegal, who highlighted “the efforts of thousands of professionals working quietly with a level of professionalism that transcends society.”
In this edition, ISDE received the Innovation Award, presented by Miguel Ángel García Martín, Councillor of Presidency, Justice, and Local Administration of the Community of Madrid, and accepted by ISDE CEO, Juan José Sánchez Puig.
ISDE has evolved from a traditional law school into a fully digital organization, integrating artificial intelligence, blockchain, and connected platforms, with technological support from INFOFUTURO as an ISDE partner, optimizing academic management and strengthening its leadership in educational innovation.
The event also recognized emblematic figures in the legal world:
🏆 Isabel Perelló, President of theConsejo General del Poder Judicial (C.G.P.J.) and the Supreme Court, awarded the Judicial Independence Award, presented by Julián Sánchez Melgar.
🏆Iberdrola, for its Pro Bono Legal and Tax project “Construyendo Juntos,” awarded the Commitment Award, received by Begoña García-Rozado, Elena Sanz Arcas, and Félix Sobrino Martínez.
🏆María Emilia Adán García Dean of the College of Registrars of Spain, awarded the Career Achievement Award.
🏆 Open Data Registradores (College of Registrars), awarded the Legaltech Santander Award, presented by Gonzalo Alonso Tejuca, Board Member of Banco Santander Spain, and received by José Miguel Tabarés, Vice Dean of the College.
🏆 Jaime Vegas, disciple of Procedural Law Professor Andrés de la Oliva, posthumously received the Career Achievement Award.
The gala reaffirmed the progress of the legal ecosystem in Spain and ISDE’s position as a driving force for educational and technological innovation in the sector.
