A few days ago, we held a new edition of the ISDE Sports Convention, once again consolidating Madrid as one of the leading international hubs for debate on sport, law, innovation, and technology.
The 7th edition of the Congress brought together 21 top-level speakers from leading institutions, leagues, and organizations such as LALIGA, the National Basketball Association (NBA), the National Football League (NFL), FIBA Europe, Formula 1, and the GENERALI Hexagon Cup, alongside renowned experts from the legal, business, and sports sectors, to analyze some of the major challenges shaping the future of the industry: artificial intelligence, audiovisual piracy, new competition models, sports regulation, and the global impact of major international events.
The outstanding reception of the event once again confirmed the growing position of the ISDE Sports Convention as one of the leading forums in the international sports law field.
During the event, the ISC 2026 Awards were also presented, recognizing the careers and achievements of international sports figures such as Marcelo Vieira, Oriol Cardona, Susana Rodríguez Gacio, and Jorge Garbajosa.
