The double Degree in Law of the Complutense University of Madrid in combination with the Master in International Law of ISDE does not only offer a unique curriculum in Spain, but also has some of the most prestigious partners to offer students a first-hand work experience starting the first year of class.

The sponsors of the program include EY, Deloitte and KPMG. But what does it mean to be a sponsor of the Degree in Law (UCM) and the Master’s Degree in International Law from ISDE? Mainly, that these firms commit themselves to become the first contact of our students with the professional world through a one-month fully individualized internship plan, in which the student, depending on their academic record and work interests, can choose between what areas to work in.

EY, Deloitte and KPMG are considered as the main international professional services firms. All three have legal and taxation divisions organized as law firms and with their own corporate entity (EY Law, Deloitte Legal and KPMG Law). In fact, the three employ more than 1,600 lawyers in Spain and each year their staff increases, on average, at a rate of 7%, which makes them one of the main employers of law graduates.

But in addition to offering internships to ISDE students, the commitment of these collaborating firms to the program is much greater, since they are also involved in the training of students. For example, several Deloitte professionals are responsible for the subject of intellectual property, while KPMG are responsible for developing content related to negotiation techniques in the workplace or EY Law, which teaches the area of taxation. The objective is no other than to make the technical knowledge reach students by professionals who are in contact with the day to day operations of the subject they teach.
