Our students from the Master in International Tax Advisory (MIAF), Master in Finance (MAFi), and Master in Entertainment Law (MDE) have returned from an enriching educational trip to Miami.
During their stay, the students visited prestigious law firms such as Gunster Law Firm and Fox Rothschild LLP, where they delved into sessions on International Compliance and Tax Planning and Practical Tax Advocacy. These sessions included detailed discussions on the US-Spain tax treaty and advising international clients, providing the students with a practical insight into tax law in a global context.
Additionally, they had the opportunity to visit the Richard E. Gerstein Justice Building, where they interacted with a judge from the Eleventh Judicial Circuit of Florida and attended part of a trial, offering them a real perspective on the American criminal justice system.
The visit was not limited to legal venues; it also included a trip to the University of Miami campus and the TelevisaUnivision studios, where MDE students got a firsthand look at the media industry.
This trip was not only a window into the professional world but also a platform to practically apply the knowledge gained in ISDE’s classrooms, reaffirming our commitment to an education that prepares future leaders for global challenges.
