Dr. Laila Mintas joined Sportradar in 2016 and oversees all operations in the USA as Deputy President.

A lawyer by trade, Dr. Laila Mintas worked several years at the international law firm White & Case LLP in Berlin, Germany and specialized in Sports Law, Compliance and Litigation. She wrote her Ph.D. in IT Law and Sport Law which became a well-recognized book in its field. Previously, she acted in Sports Executive positions in the Sports Industry, being the Head of Legal and Head of International Development for FIFA’s Early Warning System (FIFA EWS) in Zurich, Switzerland and as Director of Sports Integrity at CONCACAF, the governing body for Soccer in North America, Central America and Caribbean being responsible for all 41 member countries.

Since 2009, Dr. Laila Mintas has published a significant number of law articles and has lectured law at the Humboldt University of Berlin and at Columbia University in New York where she is currently Professor for Global Sports Law in the ISDE Program. She is Associate Editor of the well-known law journal ‘World Sports Advocate’ and has her own Sports Law Column at InsideWorldFootball.com.
