Introduction and objectives

Whoever prepares today to be a lawyer must also consider which specialty or sector they will provide their services to in the future. This should not be done according to the way law is divided for study in universities, but rather according to the way law firms and corporate legal departments are organized: by economic sectors.

Do you want to work as a lawyer in the energy sector? If you have done some research, you will know that this requires specialized knowledge that encompasses different areas of law. This is a necessary condition but not sufficient on its own. Additionally, someone will need to give you entry into a law firm that has this area of specialization or into the legal department of a company in the sector. If your answer to the initial question is yes and you understand the two conditions we have outlined, then you will understand why this Master’s in Energy Law and Ecological Transition is what you need.

What we propose is a program that will allow you to combine access to the legal profession or procurement, in a face-to-face or online format, with an online Master’s in Energy Law and Ecological Transition. In this program, the most reputable specialists in the sector will provide you with the necessary training to handle the issues they manage in their work. They will not only give you solid theoretical training but also teach you how to translate it into the resolution of specific issues. Those in which they work every day, just as you will do when you complete your access internships in a law firm dedicated to the energy sector or in the legal department of an energy company.

In short, it is about selecting students with the potential and desire to work in the sector, to be trained by the best specialists in it, and to achieve direct integration through the second phase of the program.
