The Master in Representation and Management of Artists and Athletes at ISDE is for you if you want to work as a representative or at a talent agency, in sport or in the creative industries. It combines law, finance, marketing and image, so it suits legal, business or communication profiles.
The Master in Representation and Management of Artists and Athletes has been running for more than eight years and has become a way into the sector in Spain and Latin America. It is directed by the Olympian J. J. Hombrados, with Vicente del Bosque as honorary director, and holds the CUALIFICAM quality seal.
The Master in Representation and Management of Artists and Athletes at ISDE prepares you for artist and athlete representation agencies, sports clubs, communication agencies, federations and institutions, event organisation and management, and music production companies. According to ISDE, most of its students now work in a role related to representation.
Yes. The Master in Representation and Management of Artists and Athletes at ISDE includes an internship period of at least three months at partner companies of PONS and ISDE, more than 250, which take an active part in the programme.
The Master in Representation and Management of Artists and Athletes at ISDE is offered in three formats: on campus in Madrid, live streaming from anywhere, or blended (50% on campus and 50% streaming). The curriculum is flexible and can be completed by modules.
There is no mandatory degree to become a manager or artist representative, but the work requires knowledge of contracts, image rights and intellectual property, negotiation, finance and marketing. The Master in Representation and Management of Artists and Athletes at ISDE brings those subjects together and puts them into practice at agencies and production companies.
To represent football players in transfers you need the FIFA agent licence, which is obtained by passing the official FIFA exam. The Master in Representation and Management of Artists and Athletes at ISDE does not replace that licence, but it trains you in the legal, commercial and image side of the profession and gives access to internships at agencies.
A representative oversees the business affairs of the person they represent, negotiates their contracts and sponsorships, manages their image and personal brand, and advises them on their professional decisions with a legal, economic and marketing perspective.
