This expert course at ISDE is right for you if you already practise or are about to practise in family and inheritance law and want to master its economic side: marital property regimes, liquidation of the community property regime, and the taxation of liquidations and inheritances.
Two weeks, in February, with classes Monday to Thursday at ISDE’s campus in Madrid or online or by streaming.
Prenuptial agreements and marital property regimes, consensual and contested liquidation of the community property regime, and the taxation of liquidations and successions, with practical workshops on real cases.
It is one of the blocks of ISDE’s Master in Family Law, Childhood and Inheritance, of 18 hours, which is also offered as a standalone course.
After the regime is dissolved, whether by divorce, separation, death or prenuptial agreement, an inventory is made of the shared assets and liabilities, the assets are valued and the net estate is divided equally, either by mutual agreement or through the courts. Each step has tax consequences that should be planned for, and this is the core of this ISDE expert course.
Yes. Besides this two-week course, ISDE offers other expert courses that form part of the family law master, such as Childhood Law, Gender-Based and Intrafamily Violence, International Family and Inheritance Law, or Transversal Skills for Family Law Practice.
