The Expert Course in Smart Cities offers advanced training to understand and apply the legal framework governing the development of intelligent, sustainable, and people-centered urban environments. This program addresses the legal challenges arising from the integration of emerging technologies in urban management, data protection, territorial planning, and citizen participation, providing you with the strategic and practical insight essential to act effectively in this expanding field.

Introduction and objectives
By 2050, 85% of the world’s population is expected to live in cities. This reality is going to generate a series of problems related to sustainable development, adequate infrastructure, the provision of health and safety services, energy supply, waste management, the use of environmentally friendly transport, etc.
Smart Cities are cities that are economically, socially and environmentally sustainable. The Smart City is born from the need to maintain harmony between these aspects.
The Smart Cities Expert Course is not only focused on new urban growth projects, it is also directed to the adaptation of current cities into Smart Cities. To this end, the professionals who teach it will explain urban planning from a modern, current and eminently practical perspective, directing the different subjects towards the creation of the new intelligent city.

Once the relevant Program has concluded and ISDE has verified that the STUDENT has completed their work satisfactorily, the STUDENT will receive the corresponding Degree certificate for each PROGRAM.
In compliance with current legality and, specifically, as set forth in article 4.4 of decree 84/2004, it is noted that ISDE’s programs are professionally oriented and therefore, unless explicitly stated otherwise, they are courses that do not lead to the acquisition of a title with official value, but to that of a proprietary title from ISDE.
