ISDE Asturias, the Government of the Principality of Asturias and the ICT Cluster of Asturias, meet to assess the impact of law on new technologies and the challenges of human capital in technology companies.

Representatives of the Instituto Superior de Derecho y Economía (ISDE), the Government of the Principality of Asturias and the ICT Cluster of Asturias, have met in the press room of the Government of the Principality of Asturias in Oviedo. 

The purpose of the meeting was to evaluate the evolutionary impact that law is having on regulation of new technologies and the different challenges of human capital to be faced by technology companies, which represent the engine of innovation and development of Asturias. 

On behalf of the Asturian government, the meeting was attended by Borja Sánchez, Minister of Science, Innovation and University of the Government of the Principality of Asturias, accompanied by its general director Aitor Lucas del Amo. 

On behalf of the ICT Cluster, the meeting was attended by its president Patricio Arias, its director Enrique Jáimez and the members of the board of directors, José Tomás Borja, Juan Carlos Fernández and Jesús Salas. 

On behalf of ISDE, the meeting was attended by the director of its headquarters in Oviedo Isabel Muñiz, its business development director, Germán Ruiz. The directors of the prestigious collaborating company Legal Software, Pablo García and Luis Pérez, also attended the meeting. 

The ICT Cluster identified certain concerns faced by technology companies in relation to the need for supply of qualified personnel and the need to establish an adequate regulatory framework, which allows to promote innovation projects from the maximum legal certainty were highlighted. 

In this sense, ISDE offered the possibility of implementing general or ad hoc training programs that cover the aforementioned training needs, through courses in legaltech, digital transformation and employability. 

With such programs, it will be possible to recycle professionals from different sectors in the short term, through a learning method based on real practice. 

ISDE is part of the global educational group Digitalent, chaired by Javier Rodríguez Zapatero, former CEO of Google and founder of ISDI, a leading training center in digital business.
