Choosing a degree at 18 without knowing what the real job is like is normal…
What is not so normal is discovering four years later that the profession is not what you imagined.
At ISDE, during these four years, you don’t just study Law.
You visit law firms. You speak with lawyers. You work on real cases. You complete internships from the very first year.
You don’t study to decide later what to do. You begin to understand from the start what you will dedicate yourself to.
The difference is not in the degree you earn. It’s in how you arrive at your first job.

Employability at the top firms and law offices
Why should you study this program?
The biggest fear when choosing Law is usually not its difficulty.
It is usually something else: not knowing whether the profession suits you until it is too late.
Many students finish their degree without knowing:
- What a lawyer actually does
- Which area to choose
- What a law firm expects from a junior profile
At ISDE, that doesn’t happen.
From the first year, you see how a law firm works, how a case is prepared, and what it means to have a client in front of you.
You don’t wait until the end to discover the legal profession. You get to know it while you are training.
Explore your ideal path in the legal profession
Discover all the different ways the legal profession is practiced today. There are many options, but there’s one that’s best for you.
Master new technologies and methods
Learn how elite law is practiced today. Cases are increasingly complex and involve more international elements. That’s why today firms work with methods and technologies you must master in order to successfully integrate into top-tier legal teams.
Become the professional firms are looking for
Prove your worth during the integration phase at firms. They’re not doing you any favors by hiring you. They need you. What they offer the market are elite legal services, and for that they need elite professionals. If you put yourself in their hands, they will turn you into one of them.
Define your future
Take your career as far as you want. If you become the best lawyer you can be, your future will be in your hands. You’ll be able to choose between different options, all of them good. If you’re not good, then you won’t be the one choosing—and that’s not something you want to happen. Bet on yourself and give it everything you’ve got.

Program
This program is designed based on what national and international law firms are looking for.
You learn what a firm expects from a junior professional, not abstract knowledge that you wouldn’t know where or how to apply.
You work on subjects such as:
- Public and Private International Law
- European Union Law
- Civil and Criminal Procedure
- Drafting legal documents
- Applied legal advocacy
The professors are practicing lawyers: partners, associates, and executives from law firms who teach from the client’s perspective, not from the logic of a simple exam.
A lawyer does not spend the day studying laws. They analyze contracts. Draft legal documents. Negotiate agreements. Make decisions that have consequences for their clients.
That is why during the program:
- You work on real cases
- You develop procedural skills
- You learn legal strategy
- You understand international legal practice while studying it
At ISDE, your entry into legal practice will not be a leap into the unknown, but a logical continuation of your education.
- Guaranteed internships from the first year
ISDE, pioneers in adapting the university to the business world.
You will complete around 150 hours of internships each year at the top law firms and legal practices in Spain.
From the first year, you undertake progressive internships in law firms and legal practices.
And it is part of the learning process, not just a final formality.
Each year you see more, understand more, and make better decisions.
Many graduates step into their first law firm without knowing where to begin.
At ISDE, when you arrive at a firm, you already know how it works.

Academic Stays
Mandatory
ISDE students not only receive training from faculty at partner universities, but also enjoy a life-changing experience that fosters their personal growth. ISDE maintains a series of agreements in the U.S. with prestigious universities that, together with the ISDE academic team, design tailored programs to provide the comprehensive international education that the institution offers its students. The content of these programs is always defined by two main focuses: internationalization and excellence. Current issues are addressed from a broad perspective and through a participatory system that encourages students to form their own opinions and evaluate the environment that will surround them upon graduation and entry into their professional careers.
Electives
Students can join the Erasmus+ program to undertake long-term university stays in other European countries. ISDE has agreements with universities in Germany, Poland, Bulgaria, Macedonia, France, Italy… which complement the mandatory international stays in the USA.
06 .
Certificate of accreditation
In compliance with current legislation and, specifically, the provisions of Article 4.4 of Decree 84/2004, please be advised that ISDE programs have a professional orientation and, unless explicitly stated otherwise, do not lead to the award of an official degree, but rather to an ISDE proprietary degree.
Upon completion, you will obtain: Law Degree + ISDE Master’s in International Law Practice
But the difference is not in the diploma. It’s in how you arrive at your first law firm.
